Baan Hat Sompaen’s charming way of life has been shaped by its 100-year mining history, which has now been adapting into mineral sifting. This and other unique traditions like Thai dessert-making have formed an interesting tourism path where visitors can learn about the story of mineral sifters in the past. Kaolin is now one of the most popular minerals in Thailand and has been transformed into various kaolin ceramic products. The visitors can even try making their own ceramic masterpieces here.
