Barbados

Barbados is a very special place, and Barbadians are very special people who have many stories to tell. As the Caribbean has been advised to develop community tourism as a viable niche market to cash in on business from those travellers looking for experiences beyond the traditional sand, sun and sea, the local people are ready to welcome the tourists into their communities. The people are different to other Caribbean personalities in many ways. They are most spiritual and religiously conscious. Barbadians are by nature open, thoughtful and generous.

The climate of Barbados is generally pleasant. The temperature does not usually rise above the mid-80s F (about 30 °C) or fall below the low 70s F (about 22 °C). There are two seasons: the dry season, from early December to May, and the wet season, which lasts for the rest of the year. The best time to visit Barbados is between mid-December and mid-April, during dry season. You will experience less rainfall and temperatures average around 30 degrees Celsius. Thankfully, Barbados is one of those islands you can visit at any time of the year. Rainfall often makes way for sun, even in the wet season
