Peru La Tierra de Los Yachaqs
We are eight Ayllus (communities), located across the Sacred Valley of the Incas and at the entrance of the magnificent Machupicchu in the region of Cusco. We are organized as the association La Tierra de los Yachaqs, which is directly managed and administered by us, guaranteeing the fair distribution of the income generated by tourism activity.
We specialize in offering rural, experiential and communal tourist services. Through fair tourism we are improving our income, quality of life while maintaining many of our ancient customs and traditions. The Land of the Yachaqs also offers services for events and conventions that give enhancement and distinction to your meetings.
Mission: To rescue, reassess, and preserve the culture of the highland communities of the Cuzco region. To get involved in the value chain and generate better quality of life for residents. Being an independent organization, leader in tourism service quality within the communal rural tourism.
VISION: To be, by 2020, the reference successful community tourism project in the country, through the diversification of tourism products and alleviation of poverty in the network member communities.
