“Please come over and meet the locals! ”

Rural Travel Pioneers is a sustainable tourist organization inspired by the B&B concept in Great-Britain in Pakistan. We are renting out rooms in the village, cottages at the lakesides, farmhouses in apple orchards, and tents for camping. Our basic concept is: while you’re enjoying your holiday in the meantime you’re supporting the economy of the countryside. We are offering all kinds of exciting tours. We are working together with the local community: They are our guides. Our hosts. We train jobless youngsters to be hiking and walking guides. We ask women to prepare their desi breakfast, lunches, and dinner. They make your bed and clean your room. We encourage the locals to produce and sell their traditional handicrafts with much more

Bored! Need some green energy, new friends, and fun? Join us for an amazing waterfall, historical, nature, and cultural walk in one of the most beautiful valleys of Pakistan- the Soon Valley. With expert guide Ehsan Awan of Soon Valley Tours, one of our local partners. For Islamabadis we leave at 7. Start our walk with a desi breakfast including refreshments during the 4.5 tours and with a home-cooked meal to relax. We offer different walks and hikes; in the Salt Range, the Rocky Mountains of Pakistan, a bicycle tour, and for the die hearts we spend the night in a tent nearby the lake.

Chakwal, about a two-hour drive from Islamabad, offers almost every type of tourism. Chakwal is being promoted as Pakistan’s Lake District, with 22 dams and 7 natural lakes. Watersports, survival tourism, hunting, trekking, mountaineering, and a night safari are all available. The Katas Raj Temples, a complex of many Hindu temples, are one of the most famous historical sites. The Holy Pond in the centre was created by Lord Shiva’s teardrops following the death of his wife Sati. In the Hindu epic poem Mahabharata, temples play an important part. The temples are about a 40-minute drive from the Khewra Salt Mines. Salt Ranges, Malot Fort, Kusak Fort, Makhiyala Fort, Sammarkan Fort, and Nanda Fort are just a few of the historic landmarks in Chakwal. Invaders have been attacking these forts for millennia. The Kalla Kahar Lake may be found on the other side of the highway. Her eateries, guesthouses, and hotels have made her a renowned tourist destination.
